Rio Flush Sash hits 15% at Euroglaze
Rehau’s Rio Flush Sash now accounts for 15% of Euroglaze’s output, as installers target growing demand at the premium end of the market.
Rio doors in particular have seen sales rise from 7.9% to 13.5% of door output since the start of the year.
Nicky Park, Euroglaze’s senior business development associate, says that trade customers supplying premium and higher value contracts are behind much of the increase. She said: “We know that consumer demand is strongest at the higher end of the market where cost of living pressures are a bit less. Our customers are using Rio very successfully to get a bigger share of that market.
Cottage and contemporary
Park added: “The system has the clean, authentic lines that retail buyers like, while it has maximum appeal because the design flexibility of the system, with a choice of chamfered or sculptured frames, means it looks just as good in cottages and period homes as it does in contemporary developments.
“It has U-Values as low as 1.3 W/m²K and PAS24 accreditation so there are no compromises to be made on performance or security. It is also available in a wide range of colours and woodgrain finishes, including the stylish Turner Oak which is proving increasingly popular for both windows and doors.
Easy fit
“Of course, like all the Rehau systems, Rio is very easy to fit,” continued Park “As it is manufactured in Euroglaze’s super-efficient factory, it is available on short lead times and with our well known, precision quality finish.”
Euroglaze built its 45-year reputation on being able to supply frames in all of Rehau’s systems. Alongside Rio windows and doors, Euroglaze also fabricates the complete range of Rehau Total 70 windows and doors, the Heritage vertical slider, Slinova patio and even the Rauferno fire rated window.
Park added: “Installers and stockists who buy from Euroglaze know that we will have the product they need to fulfil almost any customer requirement and to make the most of any market opportunity. They just don’t need to go anywhere else.”
