ECDS Adds Strata and Vector to Edge Collection
Entrance Composite Door Solutions has expanded its Edge Collection with two new designs combining contemporary architectural detailing with a traditional timber-style appearance.
Clean architectural lines and striking vertical shadow detailing give both designs a refined, contemporary look. They have been thoughtfully proportioned to add texture and visual interest.
The doors can be specified in coordinated finishes for a subtle, understated appearance or contrasting colours to create a bolder design statement, giving homeowners and installers the flexibility to suit both contemporary and traditional properties.
Smooth or grained
Manufactured in-house, both doors are available with smooth or grained GRP skins, together with matching smooth or grained battens.
Strata is a solid door featuring eight battens, while Vector combines four battens with recessed Inox glazing, cassettes integrated within the door skin.
30 colours
Both doors are available in a choice of 30 colours and finishes, including standard, premium and painted options. They can also be specified with matching frame colours, bespoke RAL shades and branded colour matching.
A wide choice of hardware and glazing options enables homeowners to personalise their chosen design, while complementary features including a smooth cassette system, timber-style drip bar and mechanically jointed frame help reinforce an authentic timber appearance.
Timber subframe
The doors feature Entrance Composite Door Solutions' hybrid construction, combining a robust composite design with an LVL timber subframe and security board to deliver structural integrity, durability and thermal performance.
Suited to homeowners
Gregory Kelly, the MD of Entrance Composite Door Solutions, said: "We're always looking at what's influencing homeowners and finding ways to turn those ideas into products that help our customers win more business. With Strata and Vector, we've created two distinctive designs that bring contemporary architectural styling together with the appeal of traditional timber entrance doors.
"Manufacturing every door in-house gives us complete control over quality and the flexibility to offer installers something genuinely different. We're delighted to be bringing these new additions to the Edge Collection to market."
As with all the Edge Collection, both Strata and Vector comply with PAS24. Their hybrid construction, incorporating an LVL timber subframe and security board, delivers high security, durability and excellent thermal performance.
