Glazpartners Expands As WFN Joins

The Women in Fenestration Network has joined the Glazpartners Programme which offers free benefits including events, PR, branding and web marketing.

WFN is a growing network created to support, connect and champion women from all areas of the sector and help create opportunities for development, stronger connections and increased visibility for female talent.

There is a growing contribution from women across every area from manufacturing, operations, technical to sales, marketing and leadership. While progress is being made, many women in the industry still face challenges including limited visibility, fewer development opportunities and a lack of structured support networks.

Building connections

The Network was co-Founded earlier this year by Sarah Ball and Sioned Yates who have both developed their careers in the fenestration sector, On joining the Glazpartners initiative, Yates said, “WFN is about bringing people together, sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for women across our industry. Working alongside established industry initiatives like Glazpartners gives us another opportunity to build those connections and help more women benefit from the network.”

Sarah Ball added, “One of the things we're proud of with WFN is that there's something for women at every stage of their career. Whether they're just starting out, looking to develop their skills or already in senior positions, we've created opportunities through mentoring, professional development and our Industry Inside programme that can genuinely make a difference. We're looking forward to being part of the Glazpartners initiative and building on what we've already achieved.”

Next event

Dean Bradley, the sales director at Glazpart the window ventilation specialist, said: “With the quality of the WFN membership, I have no doubt they will bring a lot of expertise to help women and companies in our industry develop and progress. We look forward to welcoming Network members to our next event in Manchester on 12 November, which is the Talking Shop with Glazpartners, held in conjunction with the People in Glazing Society social event.”
