Mahoney Moves & Roberts Procured

Chris Mahoney has been appointed to the position of Technical Sales Director at Glazpart as Deborah Roberts has joined as Head of Procurement.

Wes Ball, Glazpart’s MD, said: “Deborah brings a wealth of procurement experience across multiple markets and sectors. She also joins our senior leadership team, where her strategic approach will help strengthen our procurement function, develop supplier partnerships and support our wider growth strategy.”

Roberts started her career in procurement operating as a buyer in the electronics sector before moving to manufacturing where she has headed up procurement departments for companies in the aerospace, medical and automotive sectors. Since 2020, she has operated in the plastic injection moulding sector, leading on procurement and supply chain management.

Starting out in process engineering, Chris Mahoney has extensive experience and a senior management background in technical and business development in the automotive industry where he was worked with car brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, Mini and Nissan. Since 2018, he has worked as an operations director for a plating on plastics company.

Ball said: “Chris brings extensive technical experience in injection moulding across multiple sectors, together with a strong background in product design and project management. His combination of technical expertise and commercial focus will be a great asset as we continue to support our customers, develop new opportunities and drive innovation.”
